How can I combine the Level One/Apparatus programs?
We usually recommend picking one training modality and focusing on it for a time e.g. 3 months, so that you can achieve the skills you are working on and make significant gains. However, we have a lot of people who want to combine the Apparatus programs (Rings One, Parallettes One, and Floor One) because they prefer more variety with their training, which is also doable.
Here's how we would recommend setting it up:
Pick one of the programs that you really want to get better at (you've got to prioritize one of them over the others). As an example, let's say that you want to prioritize R1. You can go four days in a row, or three on/one off, or two on/one off, or one day of rest in between them all. Here's an example.
6 Day Split Schedule
- Day 1 - Do R1
- Day 2 - Do P1
- Day 3 - Do F1
- Day 4 - Do R1
- Day 5 - Do P1
- Day 6 - Do F1
You would just follow our handy program charts as written for each program, starting with Day 1, and so on.
This is the best way to combine the programs. If this is something that interests you, you can create your own custom bundle of Level 1 and Level 2 programs and receive a discount. Just contact a member of our Support Team!
Again, you'll have faster and more effective results with each modality if you focus on one at a time and cycle your training (i.e. 3 months of ring training, followed by 3 months of parallette training, etc.).
