If you're just getting started with parallette training, you'll want to start off with parallettes that are higher off the ground. A height of 12 inches is about right, and that's what we recommend for use with Parallettes One.

Once you've trained with parallettes for a while and made progress throughout the program, you can reduce the height of your pbars to increase the difficulty level. The lower your pbars are to the ground, the bigger the challenge and the more difficult the exercises become.
